Avi received all three degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Ben-Gurion University. His postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2012). At MIT, Avi and colleagues developed nanoparticles that are capable of autonomously synthesizing proteins upon signal, thereby being a platform for on-site delivery of drugs and preventing damage to healthy organs. In our lab, Avi is building an expert team to work towards improved personalized and targeted medicine.

Having received her Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. from the Technion, Jeny specialized in embryonic CNS cell removal under the guidance of Dr. Estee Kurant's guidance. Post-PhD, she joined Griffith’s Lab at UC Davis, contributing to endothelial cell recellularization and developing methods for antigen removal. Since 2019, Jeny serves as a lab manager and senior scientist in Schroeder lab, driving research, managing grants and fostering industry collaborations.

Joined the Schroeder group as Lab Engineer in 2022.

Ibrahim received his B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Sciences, followed by an M.Sc. in Pharmacology under the supervision of Prof. Yossi Tam at the Hebrew University. Ibrahim completed his PhD studies under the supervision of Prof. Israel Vlodavsky in molecular and cancer biology at the Technion (2022). During his PhD, Ibrahim discovered novel anticancer mechanisms to treat several types of human sarcomas. He recently joined Prof. Schroeder’s lab group as postdoctoral fellow.

Janna received her B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology (2007). She completed her Ph.D. Studies under the supervision of Prof. Ayelet Fishman in the same department. Her research focused on production of valuable chiral sulfoxides using oxidizing enzymes. Janna joined Dr. Schroeder group and served as a lab director and senior scientist, involved in many projects in the lab.

Mor received her B.Sc. in Chemistry from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (2018). Mor joined the lab in October 2019, and together with Maya Kaduri (PhD student) developed a nanodrug delivery system for targeting neurons at the breast tumor microenvironment. In her current PhD research, Mor is focusing on developing active targeting nanoparticles to the brain for treating neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Parkinson's disease.

Gal received her B.Sc in biochemical engineering from Technion in 2018. She joined the Schroeder’s lab as an undergraduate student in 2017 and participated in developing the synthetic cell system. Today, she is an Arian de Rothschild P.hD. fellow. Her research focuses on engineering artificial cells for regenerative medicine applications

Aviram received his B.Sc. in Biochemical Engineering from the Technion (2018). Aviram started working in the lab in March 2018 as a part of collaboration with a lab from the Hebrew University focused on developing a new generation of RNA delivery systems. At the moment, Aviram works in a start up RNAway

Egor received his integrated MSc degree in Medical Biochemistry at The University of Manchester (2019) having completed his project in Taylor's lab in MCRC. Egor joined the lab in 2020 and is currently studying towards his PhD in Nanotechnology. Egor's work is centred in the engineering of a revolutionary lipid nanoparticle for RNA delivery using robotics. Moreover, Egor developped an academic course that teaches nanotechnology using remote experimentation.

Shanny received her B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion (2021). In 2020, she joined the Schroeder lab's synthetic cells group and is presently working towards her Ph.D., researching methods to prolong the activity of synthetic cells through the enhancement of their energy pathways.

Ravit recived her B.Sc in Chemical engineering from the technion (2021). Ravit joined the team in 2018 as an undergraduate research student, focusing on synthetic cells and cell-free protein synthesis system. In her current research, she is developing a photocatalytic nano particles for therapiutic applications.

Shaked completed her BSc in Biochemical Engineering at the Technion (2017). Initially joined the lab as an undergraduate student, and is now a Ph.D. candidate. Shaked is focusing her studies on improving the brain's uptake of LNP (Lipid Nanoparticles) for treating neurodegenerative diseases.

Noga received her B.Sc in Biochemical Engineering at the Technion (2016). Noga has been working for 3 years as R&D engineer in NanoSpun Technologies and has joined the team in February 2019. In her current M.Sc research, Noga is focusing on designing synthetic cells system as a base for therapeutic applications.

Patricia received both her bachelors in pharmacy and PhD focused in drug delivery for gene therapy in osteoporosis treatment at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain). She joined the lab as an Azrieli postdoctoral fellow in 2021. Her research is focused on developing brain-targeted lipid particles and evaluating external stimuli to increase the brain uptake for treating neurodegenerative diseases.

Mia received her B.Sc. in Biochemical engineering from the Technion on 2021. Mia joined the team in 2019 as an undergraduate student, and in her current Ph.D. research she is developing a platform for delivering large DNA payload to the brain.

Joined the Schroeder group as Administrative Assistant in 2022.

Zoe first joined the lab as a high school student to complete a project in nanotechnology for an academic initiative "Mabat". She quickly excelled in her work and joined the lab officially as a junior researcher helping many members of the lab with their projects. Zoe specialized in the work centered in lipid nanoparticles for RNA delivery, robotics, as well as in vivo and in vitro experimentation.
